Gabor Svagrik Workshop

It was another great week in the desert. The first morning we had some sprinkling rain but that was a nice break from all the sun. It made all the colors more vivid and we had some great clouds. Gabor’s students were delighted to see such a variety of subject throughout the week. Our Sonora Desert really offers great views and various vegetation. The great thing here in Tucson for landscape artist is that we can paint until lunch at one location and be at another location after lunch in just 15-20 minutes. The students enjoyed the demonstrations that was given daily. They said that it is one of the most helpful part of any workshop. Gabor stressed the importance of design in their work and they seemed to grasp the idea of values by the 5th day. He will be doing 3 day indoor workshops this summer.
